New Features

  1. The biggest addition is a vastly improved Password Manager, which has a new user interface as well as several new features:
    • Scrolling list of sites, each of which is represented by an information card
    • Greater ablity delete or change information about any of your saved sites
    • Password strength indicator
    • The ability to set notes and tags for each site
    • Text filter/search function
    • Export you list of user ids and passwords into a file that can be read by any text editor or spreadsheet
    • Contextual help
  2. Additional stability improvements
  3. A fix to the transparency/opacity capablity. Certain screen sharing programs were unable to see transparent windows, which has now been fixed.

New Features

  1. The most obvious change is our new, and vastly improved, user interface. Aside from simply looking better, we believe you will find it easier to use and to organize the identity management services available to you. Among the more notable new features:
    • Tabbed interface for better organization.
    • Ability to alter the order of services through drag and drop
    • The ability to choose whether to orient the product horizontally or vertically.
    • The ability to set transparency level, if desired.
  2. Significant stability improvements, especially for:
    • Users with multiple Windows user accounts on the same machine.
    • Users who place their PCs into sleep or hibernation mode
  3. Improvements in setup and installation, especially stability improvements if the network connection is lost during a download.

  4. Improvements to a number of services, including:
    • Fixed scroll bar bugs in the WorldLingo translation service
    • Significant enhancements to the Password Manager
    • Added nearly a dozen new service prodviders to the txt2day SMS service

Please note that there have been a number of changes made to the way that user data files are handled. These files will be automatically converted when you first run this new version of Demoxi. This migration is one-way only--you will not be able to downgrade to an earlier version of Demoxi.

New Features

  1. Improved user experience for new Demoxi installation as well as upgrading to a newer version. In particular, users will now be automatically notified when new versions are available.
  2. UI and stability improvements to the Chat service
    1. Ability to chat with Demoxi members in other languages. Demoxi can sense which languages both parties use, and automatically translate between them. Demoxi currently supports fifteen languages:
      • English
      • French
      • German
      • Italian
      • Portuguese (Brazil)
      • Spanish
      • Dutch
      • Swedish
      • Russian
      • Greek
      • Arabic
      • Japanese
      • Korean
      • Chinese (Simplified)

    2. Ability to override one's preferred language if desired.
    3. Ability to change font type, size, and colors.
  3. Minor stability enhacemnets to the txt2day SMS service.
  4. Addition of a new Bug Reporting service. This service automatically populates the bug report with the version of Demoxi being used. Unless overridden by the user, it will also attach several logfiles which are helpful for diagnosing bugs.
  5. Additions to the Demoxi API
    • Form filling calls
    • GetRemote
    • PostRemote

Known Issues

  1. In rare cases, a user may receive an "Invalid authentication token" error if a message is sent via the Chat service within 30 seconds of bringing the computer out of sleep or hibernation.
  2. In rare circumstnaces, users of Windows Vista, particularly Vista Home Premium, may have trouble with installation. Reinstalling usually remedies the situation.

  1. Secure storage of your personal information in an encrypted “wallet” that is stored locally on your computer

Known Issues

  1. The password in the wallet is not being automatically loaded into the password field on www.hotmail.com or www.live.com. The password can still be entered manually or drag-and-dropped into the password field.
  2. Dragging a widget window from anywhere other than the top portion of the window is producing an inconsistant user experience. Depending on where the pointer was, moving the mouse may do nothing or it may select the contents of the widget. In neither case does it actually move the widget.
